Equal access to decent work and quality, accessible education is a cornerstone of societal equity. However, in a rapidly evolving world, the importance of lifelong learning cannot be overstated. The National Qualification Framework in Mongolia is a vital instrument in ensuring this, as it paves the way for achieving sustainable development goals and bolstering economic growth.
UNDP’s “SDG Aligned Budgeting to Transform Employment in Mongolia” project funded by the European Union provided technical assistance in developing the National Qualification Framework. It ensured multi-stakeholder engagement and successful collaboration with key stakeholders such as the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection and its affiliated institutions, the Mongolian National Council for Education Accreditation, professional associations, and researchers, all contributing their expertise and insights.
