To build the capacity of provincial State Audit Office staff and provide policy recommendations and methodological guidance about current challenges in audit works, the “Integrated Training 2024” three-day training has been organized in Eastern, Western, and Central regions involving 142 participants from a total of 13 provinces.
During this training organized by the National Audit Office, the UNDP’s “SDG Aligned budgeting to transform employment in Mongolia” project funded by the European Union provided technical expertise to build the capacity of local audit staff in the areas of “Integrated result-based management” and “Performance audit”.
The project has been partnering with the National Audit Office since 2021 in the area of Budget oversight and transparency, specifically in providing technical assistance in NAO performance audit and step-by-step capacity-building measures.
